Pharmacogenetics of Asthma Treatment

Haplotypes undergo a rigorous anaylsis using the PGA pipeline, since it is believed that it is the segregation of common haplotypes which is associated with disease conditions. Haplotype analsysis also allow us to narrow down the set of SNPs which need to be genotyped into a set of "critical" SNP. These critical SNPs, when informative for a given individual, are fully informative of the individual's haplotype.
